Complainant states that dust id covering Cumberland City and is coming from Georgia Pacific. On August 6, 2021, I investigated this complaint. Prior to visiting the Georgia Pacific facility, I took time to go through Cumberland City looking for evidence of gypsum dust leaving the Georgia Pacific property. I could find no evidence on rooftops, cars or trees that showed that the gypsum dust had escaped the property. Afterwards, I entered the facility and discussed the complaint with Jacob Hale and other company personnel. On July 12, 2021, during a week down time for maintenance the bags in 8 baghouses were changed. When the sources started back up on the cake had to build back up on bags to filter at the optimum level (This is normal). There was no instances where there was a malfunction with control equipment.
