Activity Description
Make Piggable Cumberland River Project TGP-9471 will involve making a section of TGP’s existing Line 500-1 crossing the Cumberland River in Cheatham County, Tennessee, piggable (able to be inspected with in-line tool) by replacing an existing 24-inch pipe with a 30-inch pipe. Temporary impacts to wetlands to be 1.52ac. The new 30-inch pipe will be installed beneath the river using the horizontal directional drill method. Theis will also include the replacement of existing 24-inch main line valves 561-1 and 562-1 with 30-inch valves on the north and south sides of the river. The existing 24-inch pipe beneath the river will be retired in-place, and no work will occur within the river. 525522a+d will include replacement of 1305 feet of 30-inch pipe via open cut trenching with temporary impacts to 1.39ac of wetlands within the same footprint. The Projects will be accessed from existing private access roads on the north and south sides of the river. Total temporary impacts 1.52ac.
