Activity Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes to impact 199 feet of stream channel with stream channel relocation, 53 feet of stream channel with bridge construction, 116 feet of streambank with riprap installation and 0.209 acres of permanent wetland fill while replacing the SR-61/Oliver Springs Highway Bridge over Brushy Creek in Anderson County. Unavoidable impacts to streams will be mitigated by allocating 79.6 functional foot credits from previously purchased credits from Flat Creek Mitigation Bank. Unavoidable impacts to wetlands will be offset by allocating 0.52 credits at a 2:1 ratio with a 1.25:1 proximity factor from previously purchased credits from Shady Valley Wetland Mitigation Bank.
