Activity Description
Excavation of 9 ft of less of the streambank perpendicular to stream flow will be necessary to create the designed spring development. Per design, a trench will be excavated approximately 2 feet greater than the channel depth and a minimum of 4 feet into the bank. Structure will then be lined with 8 oz. geotextile fabric with 24 inch or less diameter pipe installed in center of the structure to hold submersible pump which will feed farm watering system. Pipe will be backfilled with 2-3 inch stone to match existing bank elevation.
