BP Construction proposes temporary impacts to 18 linear feet of stream, permanent impacts to 196 linear feet of streams and 3.14 acres of wetlands in Hamilton County for the construction of a 388 lot subdivision in the form of wetland fill and construction of road crossings and associated utilities. Stream mitigation shall be provided in the amount of 111.6 stream credits from the Smokey Run Mitigation Bank. Wetland mitigation shall consist of an onsite permittee responsible mitigation (PRM) preservation of all of the remaining high quality wetlands onsite, with the remaining credits being purchased from the Sequatchie Valley Wetlands Mitigation Bank; acreages to be preserved include 9.05 acres within wetland 2w and 6.78 acres within wetland 1w, for a total of 15.82 acres at a ratio of 10:1. The remaining impacts to low quality wetlands will be mitigated for via the purchase of 3.12 wetland credits from the Sequatchie Valley Wetlands Mitigation Bank at a ratio of 2:1.
