Municipal Satellite Collection System to Morristown
Activity Description
Operation of a municipal collection system inside the town limits. Phase 1 sewer will serve the corridor of US 25E from the Olen R. Marshall Bridge approximately 1.6 miles north to Crosby Road/Park Drive/Turtle Rock RV Park via: 1) a low pressure sanitary sewer system (LPSS) to serve 120 residential and commercial areas on the east side of US 25E; 2) a municipal lift station pumping southward to Morristown Utility Commission’s sewer system through a 4-inch HDPE force main. Future phases will extend service in the town primarily via LPSS.
