12/22/10, observed overflow entering stream at Wells Crk. pump station, not properly posted, not properly reported.
12/28/10, severe I/I is still a problem, chronic overflows to Wells Crk., no 24 hr. reporting/followup report, just monthly overflow summary, no disinfection or cleanup after overflow, some overflows due to clogged valve in gravity main upstream of station, Wells Crk. pump station upgrade & sewer rehabilitation project ready for bids, treatment plant units/structures severely corroded & not maintained, now using chlorine bleach solution for disinfection, chlorine vent fan not connected, no heat or air conditioning, wiring hazard, metal wall panel & door still corroded & crumbling away, ceiling & floor not repaired, safety issues with rusted through hand rails over treatment units, only one of three blower motors operational, plant solids washing out due to hydraulic overloading, not using storm mode just reduce aeration slightly, clarifiers have rising chunks of old solids, drag & skimmer on one clarifier ineffective, little or no use of 2nd aeration basin, 4 of 6 sludge drying beds inoperable, flow meters not calibrated annually, sampler temperature not monitored, lab/calibration records have improved, no copies of DMRs or contract lab results, some MORs not in plant files, new meters for D.O., pH & chlorine residual, no chlorine standards used, still problems with e. coli calculations & some lab procedures, lab instrument calibration is done annually.
