*Received photos/videos of sediment loss to the lake after a rain event but none could be documented on this day…
- Controls need to be maintained and installed correctly. Additional controls are also needed in some locations....
- Twice-weekly inspections are required to be documented on provided inspection forms. Twice-weekly inspections are also required to be performed by a certified inspector. (Information about inspector certification can be found at tnepsc.org,)
- Most issues were discussed onsite with Mr. Barry Bickes on the day of the inspection, except for issues with the controls in the valleys. (Check dam has reached/exceeded 50% capacity and should be cleaned out. Also, wire-backed silt fences aren't extended wide enough across valley in some locations.)
Please be advised that sediment loss could result n additional violations, penalties, etc...
