Inspection conducted as a routine inspection. Facility NPDES permit has expired; however, facility has submitted an application and the CNMP was approved by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on July 1, 2022 and a Draft NPDES permit was issued on September 12, 2022. Facility was maintaining all records on-site except records of manure transfers. Facility indicated Tosh Farms should have pump records when they have transferred manure. I contacted Tosh Farms Environmental Manager to obtain the pump records and discuss manure transfer documentation. I am awaiting records of the manure they have received from Hidden Acres facility. I discussed manure transfer documentation with both Eddie Gardiner and Tosh Farms.

The wastewater lagoon appeared to be maintained at time of inspection. There was over 4feet of freeboard in the wastewater lagoon at the time of inspection. A rain gauge was installed near southeast corner of wastewater lagoon. All mortalities are taken to the Hidden Acres I compost shed as indicated in the approved CNMP for the facility. I did not observe any erosion issues around the hog barns at time of inspection. The drip line of the roof is lined with rock to prevent scouring and good vegetation is established around the hog barns.

I received records of manure transfers from Hidden Acres LLC. to Tosh Farms, LLC. for 2022 on September 28, 2022.
