Notes
still currently chlorinating due to damage of UV system from May floods. FEMA has approved funds and repairs of UV unit. Should be back online Sept-Oct. In the beginning of June they experienced a loss of microbiological activity due to unknown causes. Since then they have had higher than normal CBOD and Ammonia levels (all under permitted limits). Their sludge age is good. It appears either they are getting dumped on by a industry or their sludge age is not correct. Will be conducting prescreening of industries if problems continues. They got a batch of mix liqueur from Grennbriar STP to help activate their system. They are checking the "bug activity" daily to ensure growth is proper. One June 25 Hollingsworth Oil had a 4000 gallon gas release that got into their collections system. A strong odor and sheen was obersved at the headworks of the plant and cause their effluent to turn milky white. Bug levels still the same as before gas release.
