Notes
A current copy of the permit was on file. The system has several maps of the sewer system, along with inspection, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects available at the city of Mt. Juliet Sewer Department Public Works building. Flow data is being transferred to Monthly Operating Reports (MOR) correctly and submitted quarterly to the Division of Water Resources (Division). Flow calculations compared with rainfall data support that the City of Mt. Juliet's collection system does not have significant difficulties with inflow and infiltration (I&I). The current expansion project of the collection system is approximately 50% complete, and flow data supports a significant reduction in I&I from Stoner Creek. Five overflows were reported within the inspection period. A hard copy of the Multi-Jurisdictional Agreement (MJA) with Metro Water Services (MWS) was reviewed while onsite. The agreement became effective on December 1, 2023, and expires on December 1, 2026. The city of Mt. Juliet's Collection System is well-maintained and operated. The Division commends the work the city of Mt. Juliet has committed to properly operating, managing, and improving its collection system. Updated Permittee information and proper inspection log QA/QC was recommended and requested.
