Facility was out of compliance because their CNMP indicated mortalities are transferred to Tosh Gilkey to be composted. The Tosh-Cottage Grove Facility has an on-site compost shed and mortalities are being composted on-site. Gave the facility a deadline of March 22, 2015 to have their CNMP revised and submitted to TDEC.
J.T. Workman submitted CNMP revisions regarding composting to TDEC on 1-22-16. These revisions were sent to TDA for review. TDA determined additional revisions were needed and emailed J.T. Workman on 1-25-16 and notified him additional revisions were needed.
TDA notified TDEC on 2-2-16 and indicated they had received the needed revisions to CNMP.
