WOH emailed William Cochran the photos recorded of the Smithville Effluent discharge by Smithville Operators on 11.16.2023. The discharge was clear. The complaint of a discolored effluent discharge could not be substantiated. WOH reviewed the discharge earlier on Monday the 13th. Some fiber was observed at low flow, this was discussed. However, the discharge from the plant was clear with no apparent odor.
A screening system to collect and prevent the accumulation of fiber at the discharge was discussed.
