In Compliance
Several areas with previous erosion issues had been regraded & were well stabilized. The following areas were well-vegetated: areas around Loop Track, including Outfall 34; most areas along the large eastern slope and conveyance, including the N. end levee, slopes from the levee to & around Outfall SW9; slopes around Outfall SW12. Permanent Basin 3 was well-vegetated w/only a few minor, sparsely vegetated areas in the basin N. end. Most slopes in Permanent Basin 4 had been re-graded, re-seeded, & were very well-vegetated. Some areas around the slotted concrete outfall structure lacked full vegetative cover. A stone filter ring had been placed just up-gradient from the outfall structure for velocity dissipation and to promote settlement of suspended sediment. This basin discharges to Outfall SW9 & Stream 5. No additional work had been performed on the rip-rap flume down the large eastern slope near light pole 115 that had failed at the time of the 5-6-16 inspection, but natural revegetation had occurred. The slump failure near light pole 125 (see 5-6-16 inspection) had been repaired with rip-rap; sediment below the slump had been removed to restore channel flow. The upper slope of the large, sparsely vegetated area near light pole 129 above the eastern conveyance (5-6-16 inspection) remained unstable; some revegetation of the lower slope had occurred. Water in Stream 6 was clear. Most channel bottoms across the site were bare sand.
