Notes
Returned to facility to check on the dye that had been released to the collection system from a box printing operation. Operator said that when biosolids are dewatered the dye is released by the solids causing color problems.
The operator had been in contact with a chemist to search for a chemical to bind the dye so that it can be disposed of in the solids. they had scheduled some bench test to attempt to find a solution to the problem.
