During the inspection the DO meter was unable to read the proper saturation in the air saturated water that is used for calibration. The meter should have read near 100%, but never registered that value after several attempts.
Calibration records of the pH and DO meters are not maintained.
It was observed that the BOD Nutrient Buffer Pillows that are used for BOD analysis had expired in April 2017 and the TRC pillows had expired in November 2016. Using expired buffers is not a practice that is recognized in the Standard Method.
