STP inspection 6/26 & 28/13, collection system inspection 6/28/13:
**** STP: Pipe in Parshall flume channel may have been affecting flow measurement (operators removed it during inspection), flow measurement & sampling include decant from digester and recirculated wastewater / need appropriate sampling & flow measurement point, permit on file, records retained for 3 years, overall STP operation & maintenance good, minor items in lab need attention, digested sludge is treated with a de-water box & picked up by Waste Mgt. then hauled to Russelville, Ky. for land application, new lab technicial / operator currently in training at FTC
**** Collection system: Rehab. for I/I has been partially effective, overflow frequency reduced but still occurs with heavy rain events, checked pump stations and manholes that typically overflow, pump station upgrades and pump replacements at several stations, need to improve overflow signage or clear tree limbs for visibility
