The division recognizes that several steps have been taken by the City to comply with the permit. The City has adopted provisions with their ordinances that will improve the quality of stormwater runoff, conducts site inspections, and initiated other actions which constitute a positive move forward for protecting the streams and waterways of Tennessee. However, there are several permit requirements that remain unaddressed by the City. Therefore this letter will serve as a formal Notice of Violation. Actions required to achieve compliance with the minimum control measures listed above are summarized below. Please provide a written response to this letter by November 2, 2018.
