On the above date I conducted a TAV pretreatment inspection at the Mckenzie WWTP. I spoke to Mr. Billy Wood and Gabrielle Kline and discussed the status of the PT program. CMI a problematic metal plated went out of business and left town. The Mckenzie Industrial Developement, Inc. which owns the building has gotten Shomaker Lumber Co. to clean up the wastewater left inside the building in exchange for using the building for storage of lumber. Shomaker plans to pretreat the wastewater and discharge into the sewer. The sewer manhole is plugged at this time until it can be shown the wastewater is in compliance. The files and reords appeared to be in good order. However, it was determined that McKenzie's IU permit have been allowed to expire. They were extended on 12/30/05 to expire on 12/31/06. That extended has not be reissued, so the permit have now been expired for over 60 days.
