This is a new facility which received its first hogs at the end of May 2015. Producer' s current compost location is less than 30 feet from water well. Producer indicated he would move compost location by Saturday 10-17-15. Once this is done producer will be in compliance. See 10-08-15 Dennis Yoder SOPC00283 Inspection Documents for further details regarding inspection.
Mr. Yoder emailed me on 10/19/15 and indicated that he had moved his compost piles to the opposite side of his hog barns from his water well on Friday October 16, 2015. This location is over 500 feet from his water well. On Tuesday October 20, 2015, Mr. Yoder emailed me pictures of his old compost location located near his well and all the compost appeared to have been moved from this area. Mr. Yoder also provided some pictures of his new compost location.
