In accordance with 40 CFR 433.12, the facility may provide a certification statement on each monthly DMR report in lieu of Total Toxic Organics monitoring. Please note that the language of the certification statement has changes slightly in the current NPDES Permit. Please begin using the statement found on pages 19 and 20 of NPDES Permit TN0000451.
There was very little freeboard in lagoon #2 and it appeared that some of the pipes connected to the lagoon have been clogged with debris and flow was being restricted.
Required Actions:
Please begin using the certification statement found on pages 19 and 20 of your NPDES Permit if sampling for Total Toxic Organics will not be conducted.
Take all necessary actions to prevent NPDES permit exceedances for Total Suspended Solids at IMP01A.
Have the observed blockages in the lagoon pipe system removed so normal flow between the lagoons and the outfall can resume.
