This facility was inspected with TDEC Staff Bonnie Craighead, Chris Pracheil, and Dan Murray. Alden representatives Mike Erp and George Adams were present as well. Active coal removal has stopped on site, and the site is being backfilled and graded. Both ponds were constructed with spillways in place. Additional measures to remove loose material on the outside of berms and control sediment via seeding, grading, and silt fence had been taken. The site has met all requirements to return to compliance with the conditions of the NPDES permit.
