Notes

• The influent samples analyzed for 5-Day Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD5) were not seeded prior to analysis. This results in inaccurate influent CBOD data. Thus, affects the percent removal results.
• The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for field parameter measurement and laboratory analysis of samples appeared to be inadequate and was out of date.
• Containers used to collect the 24-hour composite samples were not cleaned prior to sample collection.
• A biological growth was observed inside the collection tube of the influent automated sampler. Some of the tubes had not been replaced in so long that they had become rigid because the plasticizer had leeched out.
• The effluent sampler may not be collecting a representative samples due to the volume of wastewater in the collection pipe may not be recirculating.
• The volume/depth of wastewater in the PVC pipe where effluent sample are collected appears to be too large for adequate recirculation. This would prevent representative effluent samples from being collected.
