Notes
Met onsite with Developer, Hunter Harrison and Contractor, David Siler from the Pipe Doctor for technical assistance. Due to recent heavy rain events, one of the existing culvert has collapsed in the middle. We discussed how they will be working in the dry by creating a coffer dam and pump around the work area. Once work has started, it should be completed within 1 day. I talked them about placement of rip-rap along the banks of the stream u/s & d/s of the new culvert and removal of debris accumulated from the recent rain even. Work on the removal of the second culvert has also not yet started. Discussed removed of deposited gravel directly d/s of the second culvert. The existing spring box u/s of the first culvert has large concrete blocks that have degraded over the years and detached from the spring box. I told them that they are allowed to pick those block up and remove them from the stream as long as they do not have heavy equipment in the stream because the blocks are impeding flow.
