Notes
Front sediment basin across from Muddy Creek Lane has large plumes of sediment coming in from the road inlets and has issues with erosion on the back slope. Inside the outlet structure of the front pond discharging sediment laden water. Pond needs to be inspected to ensure it is at proper capacity and outlet structure needs to be inspected to ensure it is still working properly and has no leaks. Outfall to front pond is filled with sediment and rip-rap apron is buried by sediment. Silt fence around rip-rap apron of outfall shows evidence of sediment laden water flowing overtop of the silt fence. At time of inspection, outfall was discharging sediment laden water into ditch along Hardin Valley Road which leads directly to Conner Creek. Inlets throughout the roads do not have any inlet protection. Large amounts of sediment within the road inlets causing excess sediment in the front pond and need to be cleaned out. This is causing the pond capacity to diminish. Silt fence has been installed and is functioning properly around the lots.
