Mr. Jason Woods of the Bristol/Bluff City Utility District WTP contacted me to request an onsite follow-up visit to ensure the newly implemented and soon to be implemented lab QA/QC was being done properly, and also to provide the opportunity for the other lab personnel (who were not present during the July 17, 2020 CEI) to ask questions. Mr. Josh Boggan asked for the inspection to be conducted virtually in order to minimize contact due to COVID-19 restrictions, so I arranged to speak with Mr. Woods via conference call on 8/4/2020. There have also been multiple emails exchanged instructing him on proper procedures for the required lab QA/QC. As of 8/5/2020, Mr. Woods had implemented the QA/QC procedures needed for pH and I had advised him on how to conduct the QA/QC for TRC. I sent him example bench sheets that he could use to design his own lab paperwork to assist him in keeping up with the QA/QC schedule. He informed me that he would be starting the MDL for TRC sometime this week.I advised him to keep me updated on their progress, and offered to review any new bench sheets to ensure they are collecting all the necessary data for each parameter.
