The time period covered by this inspection is from August 2021 to July 2024. The facility is currently not in operation, and it is the Division’s understanding the facility has not been in operation since November 2017. The SWPPP was reviewed and updated on March 27, 2024, with the last prior update was on February 10, 2022. The SWPPP is required to be reviewed annually. There was no sign identifying Outfall 001. A permanent sign must be securely placed at process wastewater outfall locations in accordance with the permit.
DMRs submitted to the Division were reviewed from July 2021 to June 2024. Quarterly operation reports consistently reported No Data Indicator (NODI) Code-2, Operation Shutdown, for Outfall 001 except for the second quarter reporting NODI Code-C, No Discharge. Given the facility has no active industrial activity, NODI Code-2 should be reported for the second quarter of 2024. Stormwater monitoring reported discharge, and all samples were within permit limits.
Requested documentation of new Outfall sign and resubmit 2Q 2024 DMR.
