Notes
Visited the Wilderness Water Storage Tank site. Tank is being rehabbed with sandblasting and painting of interior and exterior. Also planning on replacing the level indicator, ladder access, and entry hatch on roof. At the time of the visit, work was behind schedule and a work crew was on-site preparing to conduct more sandblasting of the interior. Project may not finish until mid July. An inspector from the engineering firm Vaughn & Melton is on-site daily and reports back to Vaughn & Melton. Follow up inspection was requested by the water system to ensure that proper disinfection procedures are followed and interior is cleaned.
