I evaluated TMSP and SOP permit compliance.

There has been significant turnover of staff in the past three years. The environmental duties have been reassigned to the process engineer, Matthew Spreeman.

The facility is in violation of the permit for not conducting annual training for employees quarterly visual inspections, or comprehensive site evaluations. The facility failed to collect annual stormwater monitoring samples in 2015. 2016 and 2017 samples were collected and submitted and were below benchmark values.

There were areas of the facility where housekeeping could be improved, (plastic pellets on ground near rail and hopper), and some minor areas of erosion.

There was no evidence of pollutants in the outfalls or drainage leading to the outfalls.

The concrete lined pond has not discharged or been pumped since the previous inspection. There was more than 2 ft of free-board in the pond at the time of the inspection.

Awaiting results of 2018 monitoring samples before returning the facility to compliance.
