Notes
This facility was damaged on April 4, 2006 by a tornado that killed several people in and around Bradford. All barns were damaged as well as the appurtenances and center pivot irrigation rig. Digital photos were taken by Jared Davidson the following day.
At the time of inspection on January 23, 2007 the barns had been repaired, fence and warning signs erected around the lagoon and center pivot rig had been repaired.( Keith Fowler stated that after they repaired the irrigation rig in June 2006, they had spray irrigated approximately 2.25 acre inches of waste.) The lagoon had approximately 4-5 feet of freeboard and the levee condition was good. The waste appeared to have no bacterial action and the color was not red as compared to similar lagoons. We requested additional liquid waste analysis for nutrients now and once prior to the next irrigation to ensure the N-P-K values match those in the CNMP and to adjust the CNMP if there is a variance. Due to debris removal and appearance of waste as diluted and of less quantity, a leak in the lagoon is suspected. Will refer to TDA.
