Notes
I looked at the STP with Glenda Bellar and Robert Bonds. Robert had washed down that morning but there was still a lot of stringy algae and some debris on the weirs. The effluent and water in the clarifiers was clear and colorless. Only one of the ditches was in service and it was not as brown as it normally is. Robert said the dissolved oxygen in the ditch had not been normal and he thinks there may be excessive filamentous growth. DeWayne Culpepper of TAUD was supposed to be coming to take a look at it and make recommendations. Glenda and Robert raised the level of the water in the ditch while I was there.
Glenda is the operator of record. Robert is under her supervision but is now operating on his own most of the time. Louis Coleman also drops in to help.
