Gil Rivera, WWTP Manager, contacted the MEFO regarding a power failure at the plant, the night of 8-7/8-2019, causing approximately 650,000 gallons to overflow onto the ground and adjacent grassy area. The overflow was contained onsite and no Waters of the State were involved. The power failure caused the SCADA system and the PLC system that operates the plant to fail. The power was restored the morning of 8-8-2019. EKB visited the plant on 8-8-2019. The overflow was mitigated by plant personnel and that the plant was back in operation.
