Notes
On June 4,2019 Jane Leatherland notified this office of an upset of the treatment system on June 4, 2019 doing the night.
I made a visit to Humboldt to assist Jane Leatherland, operator. It was learned the cause of the upset was probably someone had dumped on them. Actions to determine the origin of the upset condition was underway. All influent was sent to the detention basin in an effort to stop influent from going treatment plant. The primary clarifiers were going septic and the two trickling filters were dead. In order to revive the tricking filters, an agent called NG Revive was enter in the primary clarifiers effluent take off trough which would then be distributed to the two clarifiers. This added bacteria will aid in the system recovery. The plant influent will begin discharging into the plant after it was determined safe. Complete plant operation should begin by late this week or early next week.
