A follow-up inspection the the NOV issued on April 11, 2022. The permittee is actively working to address the issues noted in the NOV, and the majority of the outstanding issues have been addressed. Ditches have been reconstructed to the permitted design, berms have been reconstructed to reduce soil loss, the ponds are being constructed, clay lined, and auger holes filled. The site was active at the time of inspection. The ponds were not discharging. Sumps with pumps were installed in the active areas to pump storm water to ponds as necessary. The permittee has requested a 10-day extension to the NOV in order to finish pond construction, which was granted.
