In Compliance
All required records are being maintained including the following: weekly waste storage inspections, freeboard records, weekly stormwater control inspections, daily rainfall records, daily waterline inspections, records of land application, annual manure analysis, soil analysis, and an Annual Report has been submitted as required.

Facility has a covered (20) bay concrete compost shed to handle mortalities. No uncovered hog remains were observed the day of inspection. I also did not observe any leachate pooled in the compost bays on the day of inspection. The concrete pad in front of the compost bays did not have compost material out on it. The compost material was kept up in the compost bays.

Wastewater lagoons appeared maintained and the levees had been mowed recently at the time of my inspection. I did note an area in a drainage feature located southwest of Lagoon 3 that was wet. The water pooled in the drainage feature appeared to be rainwater. Mr. Oliver was going to check it out and see if they could improve the drainage so that rainwater will not pool up in this location. I told them to check the area and if it does not dry up after they improve the drainage, they may have a seep from Lagoon 3. I will follow up with Mr. Oliver and see what they find out.
