Notes
I met Steve Hensley at the Lexington laboratory to ask about Benton-Decatur's condition. He said that since the WWTP was proposed it has lost at least six big water users, including Sugar Tree Truck Stop, Stuckey's, and one other restaurant. This has greatly reduced the sewer districts water sales and consequently hurt it financially. He said the district was working with the Tennessee Revolving Loan Fund in an effort to make ends meet.
Steve also said he is hoping to have three phase power run to the lagoon. One phase power is causing the aerators to run hot and several have burned up. He also said that he is trying to come up with a better influent flow measurement technique.
