MOR review showed violations of BOD, TSS, E. coli, & total chlorine residual, not listing violation numbers, not using correct limits for E. coli & total chlorine residual, inaccurate reporting of min./max./ave. data, extra "followup sampling" data not included in max/min/ave., math errors.
4/24/12, plant inspection, need to remove solids from plant more frequently, floating layer of old solids on clarifier surface, solids buildup in clarifier, chlorine contact chamber & weir chamber, need to clean more often, daily worksheets on hand for month of April, onsite record of sludge depth checks in clarifier and digester, pH 10 had expired last year, pH 4 expiring this month, pH 7 never used & none on site, standards used for 2 weeks before changed, pH probe almost out of fluid, not using correct calibration procedure for pH, DO, and chlorine residual, need to get BOD bottle to collect DO sample, heat but no air conditioning for lab building, BOD / TSS / E. coli taken to private lab meet holding times okay, operator couldn't find outfall point & doesn't check it (4 operators rotate to check plant & do on site analysis), only one outfall sign, need to clear path & check outfall routinely, no permit on site, MORs & worksheets & chain of custody kept at UD office, all plant equipment working, SCADA monitoring system, flow meter / DO / pH meters calibrated by service company July 2011, the 2 pump stations okay except for severe corrosion in wet wells.
