Notes
Visited SIU's Primex and Plygem. Primex was issued an NOV in May 2022 for discharge of plastic pellets which caused a flow obstruction in the lift station. A corrective action plan was required. Primex made capital improvements to their screening system as part of their corrective action plan. Preventative maintenance is required on the system daily and is logged by employees. Since implementing the improvements there have been no more issues with pellets in the lift station. Both Plygem and Primex had slug control plans available on site. Both SIUs are maintaining records for 3 years. The CA is conducting sampling, and inspections as required by their program.
