6/2/11, Followup PAI inspection conducted to check status of corrective action on violations and deficiencies found during PAI 6/24/10 and followup 12/21/10. Some improvements but most violations have not been corrected. Problems remaining: severe I/I, overflows within collection system and at plant, plant hydualically overloaded and treatment basins overflow (bypass of treatment units) occurs during high flows, receiving stream not posted for frequent sewer overflows at the head of the plant, treatment plant maintenance and repairs are severely neglected with treatment units and equipment severely corroded or needing repair or replacement, laboratory analysis not conducted according to EPA Approved Methods (ammonia, total chlorine residual) or calculation of results not completed properly (CBOD, E. coli). The contract was awarded in May 2011, for a 450 sewer line replacement project but work has not begun and the schedule for construction is unknown.
