Outfall of detention pond has been installed approximately 1’ above the channel bed, creating high potential for erosive impacts to the channel. Slopes surrounding outfall have are not stabilized and do not have adequate EPSC protection to prevent sedimentation in the channel and the potential for downgradient impacts during the next rain event. The slopes should be stabilized and/or EPSC measures installed to prevent sedimentation to the channel, and a velocity dissipation device should be installed to prevent excessive erosion of channel bed and banks.
