Cleveland Utilities has twenty significant industrial users currently permitted. Nine are classified as categorical significant industrial users. Currently all significant industrial users are in compliance with the self-monitoring and reporting requirements of their individual permits. A file review of two significant industrial users was conducted . The files documented that the industrial users were inspected and sampled by Cleveland Utilities at the frequency required by Cleveland Utilities’ approved Pretreatment Program. Both industries are conducting and reporting self-monitoring as required by their industrial user permits. Site visits conducted at Triumph Corrugated Sheets and Georgia Pacific. Both industries have been evaluated for the need for a slug discharge control plan. Triumph has been required to install continuous pH monitoring and is in the process of completing the installation of a continuous pH monitoring system.
