Mr. Gardiner presently houses approximately 8500 hogs over 55 pounds in 13 barns. Wastes are treated in one single stage lagoon. There was over six feet of freeboard in the lagoon. The warning signs are on all sides of the fence around the lagoon. Rainfall,daily waterline, weekly levee and freeboard, annual liquid waste analysis and soil test of spray field records are being maintained. Dead animal disposal methods utilized are burial and Griffin Rendering. This facility is maintaining the records required in the current permit coverage prior to approval of the CNMP and issuance of the current permit coverage.
