Notes
Paperwork is currently well organized and easily accessible, and a copy of the Permit is available on site. Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) noted two non-receipt violations for outfall SW1. This is due to the parameters not populating resulting in the Permittee not having access to report the required parameter(s). The Division of Mineral & Geologic Resources – Mining Section (Division) is aware of this issue and is currently working to resolve this matter. Initial Calibration Verification (ICV) and Continuous Calibration Verification (CCV) methods are now electronically available for assigned staff.
Outfalls 001, 002, 003, and SW01 were inspected. No observable impact was observed downstream from the permitted locations. The Division recommends maintaining access paths to safely observe all permitted outfalls as required by the Permit.
Resources as its contract lab for Total Suspended Solids and Oil and grease effluent parameters. pH is measured on-site; equipment was in good order, and additional internal reference material is available electronically, via QR code, for each device.
