Notes
While investigating a gravel dredging complaint within the vicinity of the Waynesboro STP outfall on the Green River, Ryan noted problems with the Waynesboro STP. Ryan quickly spoke with the plant operator and photographed what he observed to be a recently occurring bypass of the plant that discharged untreated sewage to the Green River. Ryan also observed deposits of sewage around the plant's permitted outfall indicating recent problems with the plant's discharge. A thorough review of the plant's permit, files and reports will be conducted as soon as possible.
