Notes
Was notified by operator on 10/9/24 regarding a possible plant upset due to the unintended actions of a contracted construction crew. The crew's actions damaged a set of control wires which are responsible for proper function of the SBR system. The compromised control wires caused Basin #1 & Basin #2 to become deprived of proper aeration due to the blowers not working and the SCADA system coming offline. Upon arrival Basin #1 was not working and was not resetting properly. During the TAV, we witnessed Basin #1 come back online and start aerating. I told the operator to notify should anything change that may compromise their NPDES permit limits.
