Grit removal system & 3 primary clarifier surface skimmers broke down during high flow conditions July 2016 (flooding) & not yet repaired, oxidation ditch functioning normally, 5 secondary clarifiers functional, contract sludge press in use, sludge disposal at two landfills, trying to improve/increase solids disposal, effluent not causing objectionable impact on stream, not cleaning composite sampler containers after each use & not replacing sampler tubing often enough, samples analyzed by private laboratory not meeting EPA approved methods of analysis & invalid during Feb., Mar., May 2016, new contract laboratory to begin 10/1/16, serious I/I problems & sewer overflows within collection system, study underway with manhole rehabilitation project in the design phase.
