Inspection to assess stream mitigation progress. Disturbed areas in the watersheds of Streams 2,3, & 4 were stable and drainage was properly managed. Mitigation activities have occured on approximately 160 feet of Stream 4, with some rock and large woody debris habitat incorporated into the mitigated stream channel. Stormwater management for the Surface Mining Control and Reclamatin Act (SMCRA) permit is currently limiting mitigation activities in the headwater reaches of Stream 2 and 4.
