Description and Writeup
I was directed to you from a colleague of mine that you might be the person I need to talk with or at least start with in regards to an erosion issue we are having at one of our facilities. We own the property located at 4379 Old Lamar Ave., Memphis, TN 38118 and the Ten Mile Creek runs through the back side of our property. In the last 18 month there has been a tremendously significant increase in water volume at the curve in the creek behind our building. This is not significant to weather this year, it is naturally higher during, before and after rain. There has been an immense amount of rapid erosion on the bank of our property and it is now beginning to undermine exterior concrete on our facility and getting close to our building foundations.
I do not know the cause for this, but my preliminary assumption is that something down stream has changed and is now causing more backups up stream and dramatically affecting our property. Please let me know if you are the correct person I need to talk to about this or if you could direct me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.
