02-DEC-15 Complainant stated she has sewer Manhole in yard. Has overflowed into yard and into house, busted seal on toilet, ruined floors. Overflow started on Saturday November 28, 2015, sewer was overflowing from man hole uphill from her house, and into her yard. On December 1, 2015, in the morning, the city pulled off the man hole lid in her yard, which further flooded her yard. City came out to her house several times over the last few days. City has spread lime in her yard on December 1, 2015, but as of today still strong odor in her yard. This is recurring event that happens every time it rains, has lived in house for 7 years, and over that time she has had to replace the floors in both Bathrooms and kitchen, and for this has not been able to use water since Saturday. Ms. Coleman stated she is contacting her Lawyer to see about bringing suit against McEwen. ***
02-DEC-15 I discussed with the complainant what McEwen has done to address the overflow issues, and about the treatment plant and collection system improvements that are going on. Told her I would contact the mayor to relay her concerns and her intentions. MPM***
