Complaint Description and Writeup
On 11/1/2024, a Ms. Michelle Connelly contacted the Jackson Environmental Field Office regarding her drinking water in the Huntingdon distribution. According to Ms. Connelly, her drinking water discolored on the morning of 11/1/2024. Drinking water representatives from the Jackson Environmental Field Office conducted a site visit on 10/31/2024. During the site visit, it was discovered that Huntingdon public works staff were flushing hydrants improperly. The proper flushing techniques were explained to Huntingdon public works staff and were implemented immediately. Ms. Connelly was contacted again on the afternoon of 11/1/2024 and claimed her water quality had improved. Due to the corrective actions taken by Huntingdon, and the results provided by Ms. Connelly, it is determined that this complaint is now closed.
